[G4] Blue screen

Can anyone help...........I inadvertenly hit master power switch 
off..........and when I restarted my MAC G4 dual 867.....Tiger....it opens to a blue 
screen.....and will not do anything.......I have cursor arrow.....but cant find 
anything to open....no tool bar....icons or anything......it does say starting OS 
X in beginning...but thats it...blue.......

any help appreciated...Thank You......Kevin
