Verizon just reduced their rates- but you have to call for the discount. I have the package deal also- it was 49.99 for the phone service, and it went down to 39.99, but no longer includes Call-Intercept, which blocks unidentified sales and solicitation calls- so I wind up paying 43.95 for the new package. The DSL went down too, but only if you opt for a new slower service- faster than dial-up by far, but slower than the traditional DSL- much cheaper, but I stuck with the speed. FIOS not available in my area yet- I asked. Jim. > >On Dec 6, 2005, at 8:48 PM, Daniel Brieck Jr. wrote: > >> I have not tried FIOS, but I have comcast cable internet.
