I had a problem importing my mail from Netscape 4.x on OS 9 into Netscape 7.1 on OS 10.3. The address book imported, but not the e-mail. I finally figured out where the mail in OS X Netscape 7.1 was by searching for inbox. I also located the mail from from Netscape 4.x in the prefs folder of the OS 9 system. I made myself a new POP account in Netscape 7.1 with a dummy input server such as dummy.mail.com. Then I found the inbox for the dummy account. I replaced this new empty inbox file with the one from the OS 9 pref folder. Much to my delight, I had access to all my old e-mail. Presumably, I could then move the messages from the dummy to the real account used by OS X. Try a few things. It just might work.
