[G4] Anyone having Burn issues with DVR-109?

Since I did the upgrade to 10.4.3, I seem to be seeing an awful lot  
of failures (DVD & CD) when I burn (iTunes, Finder or Toast 7.01).   
Any one seeing similar issues?

I haven't tried to go back to my 10.3.5 disk to see if that  
alleviates it as of yet - just haven't had time with the holidays.

G4/500 AGP
DVR-109 w/1.57 firmware (I just upgraded to 1.58 to see if that will  
help last night - no tries yet)
Sonnet PCI SATA
Sonnet Aria Extreme PCI
640 Mb RAM
360 Gb disk (by 3 drives)
10.4.3 OS X
