[G4] More About USB Question

I'm having the same problem with my 733 G4 and a CompUSA USB 2.0 card. It
is recognized by the profiler, as is my G5 iPod, but _everything_ freezes
up...iTunes, Finder, the dock...when iTunes tries to connect to the iPod.

Anyone have a USB 2.0 card that really does work with a G4?
