I'm having the same problem with my 733 G4 and a CompUSA USB 2.0 card. It is recognized by the profiler, as is my G5 iPod, but _everything_ freezes up...iTunes, Finder, the dock...when iTunes tries to connect to the iPod. Anyone have a USB 2.0 card that really does work with a G4? on 12/29/05 2:50 AM, Jim Thornton at jimthornton at mac.com wrote: > Hello! > > Today, Philip J Robar commented on the "USB Question" and said (among other > things): > > "Get a USB 2.0 card, they're cheap - $10-$50 depending on > name brand, etc. Make sure it's Mac compatible and/or returnable, > last thing I knew one common chipset was compatible and the other > wasn't.
