An interesting thing just happened. I read Valeries noted about the ram so I shut down the computer to check if the ram was seated. I removed the two 256 DIMMS plugged in a hard drive to see if by some quirk of fate it would spin up. Well no such luck so I shut down again, removed the drive, replaced the two 256s and went to start up. After the little spinner on the grey screen came up, a dark background descended then a picture of the power button popped up with a message in a half languages that said I need to reboot my system and told me either to hold the power button for several seconds of hit the reset button. Well I hit reset and it did the same thing. So I shut down, again, removed the two 256s and it restarted fine. Has anyone seen this before? Weird stuff going on in my computer.
