[G4] HP DVD Writer 630i

I am receiving a pretty cool birthday gift.  The HP DVD Writer 630i and a
new firewire enclosure.  The enclosure is not here but I have the Best Buy
sealed box with the HP DVD Writer. The box says NOTHING about Mac
compatibility and I wonder if it will work in my G4 1GHz AGP using 10.3?

HP box say it comes with PC software but something tells me I will at least
need something like Roxio Toast 6 to be able to use the DVD burner.

Anybody using an HP DVD burner?
