They all are. No way can you create a more powerful MacInstein for $499. Tiger and iLife '05 are $208. That makes the mini hardware $291. You cannot buy a used Mac that old and add a processor running 1.25 GHz for less than $291. Days of being clever with old gear are rapidly going by the wayside as Mac mini is about to get a refresh making original Mac minis worth about $299-$399 at most. That means the first generation Mac mini hardware will cost about $91 to $191 within a few weeks from now. Don't waste your money on old Macs.
