[G4] Sleep = Coma

I know this has been discussed before.  When I first upgraded to Mac OSX
10.4, this G4-1GHz-AGP would sleep and awake. It now sleeps okay but goes
into a hard coma and the only way to wake it is to push the RESTART button
on the front.  Yes, I have a Belkin internal PCI card to get more USB ports.

Does Belkin or Apple have a fix for the sleep = coma problem?  I need the
extra ports more than sleep so I have just learned to never let it sleep.
