The DVR-109 is the correct model. I have upgraded my G4 Quicksilver several times. The DVR-10x (x=3,5,7,8,9) series run fine in Macs. I get my drives (hard drives, DVD drives, enclosures, etc.) from newegg.com. Very reliable, usually lowest, or near-lowest price. This morning, the price is US$49.99 with free shipping. It's a deal! http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16827129161 --Steve At 7:28 AM -0400 6/19/05, Thomas J. They have a lot listed as new with ATAPI/E-IDE connections but none mention the Mac operating systems (just PC OS's). Are these not the correct Pioneer 109's for a Mac? Most of these sellers are asking $17+ for S&H. Has anyone out there in G4 land made this upgrade recently and could offer their advice? I am not necessarily looking for the cheapest way to go but rather the most effecient way with a good seller that will listen if theres a problem.
