[G4] New hard drive question

I am looking to buy a new HD.
I have a G4 MDD model single 1.25 ghz. Running OS
10.3.9

I would like to add a 200 gig HD in addition to the
stock 80 that came with the system.

I have a large project to convert all of our VHS home
movies to DVD.

Should I hook the new HD up to the ATA100 bus or
should I use the ATA66 bus. I have read that it is
better to not have two drives on the same bus.
