Tom, I had some problems with the OSX DVD Player.app when I was testing my first test burn from the Pioneer DVD-109. I had the same breakups on my old RCA set top box DVD Player so I assumed it was a bad burn. I was wrong! I purchased a new DVD Player for the TV and the burned disc played perfect. I suspect there are some problems in the OSX DVD Player as well. I just noticed Steve Goldstein's posting regarding a new alternative to the Apple DVD Player called MPlayer OSX.app that was released in beta on 6/20/05. One cool thing about MPlayer OSX is it has an option that will let you play a movie from a VIDEO_TS file. The beta version of MPlayer OSX has some bugs but it works pretty good. Try it as an alternative to the Apple DVD Player. Dick > From: "Thomas J.
