[G4] iPhoto library edit issues

I just ran into a similar issue as well with iPhoto version 4.0.3 under 
10.3.5.  Every time I click on a photo to edit it nothing happens.   
Photoshop will open up but no image.  I saw this on 
http://www.macrumors.com but nobody had any good fixes/tips about that.

Help appreciated please :-)
