[G4] g4 sawtooth freezes

Hi, 
My Sawtooth G4 freezes often and I have to hard shut down it. I am only running Mac OS X 10.3.7
(7S215)  Kernel Version:	Darwin 7.7.0.

It happens with FIre Fox and msword. I have dsl.

Any ideas on what I can do to fix this?
