[G4] garageband and audio questions

does anyone know if the g4 867mhz powerbook came with garageband?im trying 
to find it but know not where?

also i was told the audio sound cards that came withe these macs is pretty 
good.anysuggestins on a good mike to plug directly into my mac?and how about 
multitracking software.anyone have any opinions about free or paid programs 
like audacity or others?
