[G4] firmware solve crashing

I downloaded firmware from Apple and it said i needed system 9 to install it, which I do not have
on my G4 Sawtooth.  Just 10.3.7. Will try getting more ram. Am other suggestions about firmware?

While your at it, make shure your firmware is at the most recent. I had random crashing and it
