Remove the card and see if it stops freezing. Some of the G3 are very picky about USB; Also, Did you apply the USB Card Support 1.4.1?? I have a good beige running OSX and 9 that will not take a USB card....I have tried 4 (these work fine in other beiges). This was the case on a beige my daughter had also. roger On Oct 23, 2005, at 11:22 PM, s* wrote: > I have a 4 port USB card installed but, there are no devices > connected at > the moment. > > > -----Original Message----- > From: g4-bounces at listserver.themacintoshguy.com > [mailto:g4-bounces at listserver.themacintoshguy.com] On Behalf Of > Roger Harris > Sent: Sunday, October 23, 2005 4:34 PM > To: A place to discuss Apple's G4 computers. > Subject: Re: [G4] Beige G3 OS X Freezing > > Are you using USB? > > roger > > > On Oct 23, 2005, at 10:18 AM, s* wrote: > > >> Hi, >> >> I have a beige G3 266 running OS 10.2.8 and has 256mb's of RAM.
