[G4] Problems printing since sustem updates

I am having now printing problems of my own. I am tunning 10.4.2 on a  
QS,  1 gig mem.

I have an Epson PS925 and an Epson C60. a couple of days ago the 925  
stopped printing, I reinstalled the drivers and still no go. brought  
the C60 and did the same installation and same thing. The printer  
names do not appear in the list of printers when the printing page  
setup comes. The only options available are the ones for Firewire,  
tcp/ip, usb etc and when I select any of those still no cigar. I also  
downloaded the drivers from the factory which did not solve the problem.

I'm starting to suspect thet the updating of system has something to do.

The printers work on OK on my wifes pc, so I know that they are in  
good working condition.

Any help will be appreciated
