[G4] Windows Media Player for OSX

Anybody download this and running it? How is it? Does it mess up 
anything?

My cable tv provider has upped the cost for basic cable from 26.00 to 
46.00/month, and the only thing I really want is CNN, so maybe I could 
use CNN's internet portal to get my news? The FAQ says I need Panther 
for the player, but the download screen just says OSX. I am running 
OS10.2.8.

Maybe time to upgrade!!!
