[G4] Cable Modem and Seeing Activity Thereof

I use Speakeasy. BUT, other thoughts:
1. I don't know which provider you use, but there are reports (cant
remember where I read this), that service providers are cutting each
other's lines "by accident" when installing their own,
2. you should be able to see differences in utilities/Network Utility/
Trace Route. When it's fast, there should be less routing.
3. Sometimes, ISP routers go out and trace routes increase - this
also happens with volume overloads.
4. You are at the mercy of the required site as well. If they are
overloaded, your link will be slow, but I suppose Speed Tests should
tell you if it's you or them,
5. Today- the links have been awful. (Comcast). Up and down, slow,
fast and stop.
