[G4] How to Open .asx file?

I'm trying to listen to a website that streams a police scanner as a 
.asx file. I click on the link which says (video/x-ms-asf Object) and 
it places an icon that says scanner.asx on my desktop as a Windows 
Media file. The audio says that the server is busy but the server isn't 
busy because I'm picking it up fine on my PC laptop. I tried opening it 
with Flip4mac in my Library/Internet/Plug-In folder but it's grayed 
out. Any ideas?
