OK - I'm doing a little troubleshooting as we go along. Prolly should have checked Apple Support on the web first. Anyway, when the display power light flashes, there will be a pattern indicating what's wrong. I don't remember the pattern, so will have to wait until next time the problem manifests. What's different with my monitor is that the WHOLE DISPLAY flashed on-off, not just the power light. It's back on, now and not showing any difficulties. A number of folks in the Apple Studio Display 17" LCD Forum have the blinky power light problem, and it seems to usually indicate an inverter gone bad (whatever the heck that is). You can evidently replace this for about $100 yourself. Let me revise my post to Anyone else have a problem like this? What was it?
