This machine was previously set up to start in OS 9.2 and it did so for years. As soon as I changed the hard drive and tried to reinstall the operating systems I ran into the difficulty. I'm working on this machine for someone else. nagable at comcast.net wrote: >I have always had trouble starting my QS 2002 in Classic. Classic runs fine alongside all the OS X versions, but only on rare occasions was I able to force a startup in OS 9. I had to do it when i installed the processor upgrade (Sonnet dual 1.8 GHz). I managed it by reinstalling 9.2.2. I don't know why you would need to start up on 9 when it runs side by side with OS X anyway. > >nate > -------------- Original message ---------------------- >From: Amy Morris <edit at ejourney.com> > > >>I meant to say partitioned... >> >>Amy Morris wrote: >> >> >> >>>Hello everyone, >>> >>>I'm new to the list and joined because I'm trying to find a solution >>>to a problem I'm having with a G4 QS.
