[G4] any tips on a stuck CD/DVD?

I have a G4 titanium powerbook / slot loading CD/DVD.

It has decided not to load OR eject a Blockbuster DVD.

I've tried command-option-O-F to open firmware and then typed eject  
cd with no effect. I've tried restarting with equivalent of mouse  
held down. I'm thinking the problem is not software but hardware.

Any tips?
