[G4] G4 w/DVD RAM/ROM drive?

I think the best bet would be to install the software (10.4 Tiger !)  
first with the "combo drive" that's already there.
Then install the drive.
If it's panther you will need a patch. google "patchburn" or ask  
again here for the proper firmware.
  But I think if he goes directly to Tiger the the 109 or 110 should  
just work fine.
