[G4] FIRMWARE ???

Hello,  I am about to install MAC OS X Panther on my G4 AGP Graphics, and I was told that I needed to update my firmware to version 4.2.8.
How do I do that?  I am new @ Mac World and I have no clue of how to do so.
Anyone, help....!!!
