I have multiple backup programs I use, depending on the circumstances. For keeping individual folders on two drives synchronized, I use Chronosync. This is an excellent program with lots of options which lets you preview changes (to either or both folders!) before making them. $30 shareware. http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/13652 If you simply want to make one disk a mirror of the other, try SuperDuper. I like it ten times better than Carbon Copy Cloner. $27.95 shareware. http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/22126 For backing up to multiple CDs or DVDs, Toast 7 works well. You DO have an offsite backup in case of fire/flood/burglary, don't you? Finally, for tape backup, I use Retrospect. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy, but can't find anything else which will write to a tape drive. Never be afraid to spend $30 to save yourself hours of tedious labor! -- Robert MacLeay http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/22126 On 3/6/06 10:33 PM, David Minger NPG Cable <davidminger at npgcable.com> wrote: > 1.
