Hi gang!

Thanks so much for your input. What I have gleaned from it is to have
a more positive attitude. Looks like my 870 isn't destined for the
recycle bin just yet.

Joan, I did check out as many as six Costco's in my area and they
don't sell them. I had noticed for over a year that they didn't seem
to be available. But I wrote it off to the frequent turnover of
products at Costco.

I will try out the online companies that have been suggested. However
I am still unsure about the less expensive ink cartridge knockoffs.
But I really can't lose to much if I take the cost factor into
account. I could always switch cartridges when I needed to do special
photo work.
