Also, check out the pricing at newegg.com.  Usually, you can get the latest model (which, by now, may be DVR-111 or at least DVR-110) for between $40 and $50.  That's where I have bought many an opeical drive which I replaced serially in my Quicksilver as the newer ones came out.
