Create a partition ;-)

You need to create at least one partition and format it before the OS  
can be installed. For more information:

Select the only entry in the Help menu.
Click on the "Learn about Disk Utility" link.
In the Partitioning disks section click on the "Partitioning disks"  
link.
Click on the "Partitioning a disk into several volumes".
