I haven't tried the software, only read the web page, but I would be very interested to learn if any of you know first hand if this really is working. Regarding the header: I put in two Seagate barracuda some years ago in my G4 AGP, and have been very happy with them since then. Very quiet, and so far very reliable. Now my goal is buy one for my MacPro as well, that drive is way to noisy... (and also I am planning to move one of the older drives from the G4 to the MacPro, to the space beneath the optical drive.
