Greetings ( + )!( + ) I have, you might say the same problem, however in my opion it is just that all, or at least most devices that are connected to the USB port prevent the platform from awaking once put to sleep. I have an external 80 GB hard drive that when it is turned on and the platform is put to sleep, it will not awaken. Even if the drive is turned off after the sleep cycle is started. I also have an USB "i-Rocks’s All-in-1 media memory card reader" and if there is a memory card plugged into the reader when the system is put to sleep it will not awaken. The trick is to disconnect or turn-off all USB devices before letting the Mac. go to sleep, then there aren't any problems. I also have a HP printer that is connected to a USB port through a USB to serial converter which doesn't cause any problems, so as you can see not all USB connections act alike. ---------------------------------------------------- On Aug 17, 2007, at 8:52 AM, Jake Holt Photography wrote: > I have this: http://eshop.macsales.com/item/Sonnet%20Technology/USB2/ > > Be aware, I have used 3 different USB 2.0 PCI cards and each one has > prevented my computer from waking from sleep.
