Hello Howard, I have two 3Com cards in my G4. I lost the built-in Ethernet to lightning, myself. I'm not sure of which NICs work with OS X and which don't, but I know that a Davicom NIC will not, and 3Com does, at least in the case of the Boomerang and Cyclone cards. I expect there may be more information about compatible cards at xlr8yourmac.com Eric Am 20.06.2007 um 06:38 schrieb Howard Evans: > Folks, > > Seems like when we were away for the weekend there was a biggish > storm up here on the coast of Maine and when we came home, though > the computers were turned off, the router had been toasted and it > would appear that the ethernet port on the G4 (quicksilver 933) > doesn't work any more. > > What's involved in diagnosing the extent of the problem and what's > the needed repair likely to be.
