I am running an Intel IMac and Sys X 10.4.8. I have a copy of Ubuntu version 6.06.1 LTS for Mac. I haven't loaded it yet, but I thought I'd put it on a dedicated external disk just to become familiar with it -- learn a bit about Linux, mess around, etc. I am an old Mac hand with very little PC experience. What do you recommend? Should I do it? Thanks, earle *
