Hello and thank you all, The consensus seems to be to upgrade to a G4/500+ machine and go from there ... not being one to ignore good advice I am currently looking at several. BTW, I was finally able to get my daughters FrankenMac up and running with Panther and it is rather stable for now!! Later, Dan
