Interesting.  The serial number works at Chipmunk's Klantenservice:
http://www.chipmunk.nl/klantenservice/applemodel.html
but not if you go to this page at Apple:
http://support.apple.com/specs/
and type the serial number into the box that says "Find by Serial Number".
