[G4] Unable to transfer/copy files-Files name too long!

Fred,

What exactly were you doing when you got this message? Is it possible
you were copying a file from an HFS+ volume to a standard HFS volume?
HFS+ supports filename up to 255 characters; standard HFS only 31.
How long were the filenames that caused the error message?
