How do I access the zip drive? It seems to have a zip disc in it but I am not able to access or remove the disc. Can someone help me with this? Iomega provided special drivers for its zip drives. Your G4 was probably delivered with OS 9 and The Iomega stuff should have been included with the OS. Macintosh removable media have pretty much always depended on software to perform an eject. If there is a disk inside it should mount and show on the desktop or, if it is a blank or some unrecognized disk it should be ejected by the system. You might have a look inside the case to be sure it's plugged in. If the machine is running OS 10 because it was upgraded it's possible that the software is missing. The Iomega web site is a place to start. My G4 still has a Zip drive in it but it got disconnected a couple of years ago to accommodate a third hard drive. -- --> From the U S of A, the only socialist country that refuses to admit it. <--
