[G4] What's a good mic for iMic

I've got a G4 Quicksilver DP 1Ghz/1.5RAM/10.4.5. I've just bought and tested this <http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2123172> mic out with Griffin iMic. The audio playback volume is really low unless tweaked but then noise becomes an issue. Anyone out there found a decent low cost (under $25.00) mic that'll work with iMic?  Or is the a way to get the Apple PlainTalk to work.
