Hi Bill, I have an iMic... Did you test recording with the mic/line level switch on the iMic set both ways? I remember reading it can look reversed from what you might think it should be at first...unless that was the original model of iMic and the newwer one has a different looking switch and icons/labels by it? A quick search turned up the same comment on this blog post (from 2002?!): http://paulboutin.weblogger.com/2002/08/03/ Just an idea. -kie On Sat, Nov 1, 2008 at 3:03 PM, Bill Disney <superatoris at yahoo.com> wrote: > I've got a G4 Quicksilver DP 1Ghz/1.5RAM/10.4.5. I've just bought and tested this <http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2123172> mic out with Griffin iMic. The audio playback volume is really low unless tweaked but then noise becomes an issue. Anyone out there found a decent low cost (under $25.00) mic that'll work with iMic? Or is the a way to get the Apple PlainTalk to work. > Thanks. ~Bill > > _______________________________________________ > G4 mailing list > G4 at listserver.themacintoshguy.com > http://listserver.themacintoshguy.com/mailman/listinfo/g4 >
