On my QuickSilver 733 MHz, I sometimes use the medium sized button beneath the normal off/on button to deal with a freeze. The "Setting Up..." book says it is a reset button to be used "only when you cannot restart your computer with any of the recommended methods...." The smallest button beneath that is the Programmer's button to be used ONLY for firmware updates, under specific instruction.
