On one of the hard drives, the colors were becoming more washed out as time passed which also disabled the monitor preference color settings. And yet on HD#2, everything was entirely normal, eliminating questions about the hardware. And previously, doing an archive and install had done nothing to fix the problem. Thanks, again.
