This is an old problem with people upgrading their RAM one stick at a time. On the Old PwrCmpting PwrTower Pro there were eight RAM Slots. You'd get one doing some strange things and you'd find three different types of DIMMS. On the list people related all their different problems (even Crashes) only to find it was caused by dissimilar DIMMs. Spooked my so bad, to heck with the speeds, I won't even mix brands.
