[G4] DVD Player

I am having a problem with my DVD player. I used to be able to watch DVDs 
on my G4 when I was running Panther and even Tiger, but since upgrading tp 
Leopard when i try to use DVD Player, I get this message "There was an 
initialization error   Avalid video device could not be found for playback. 
[-70017]"

What's up with this? and what can I do about it?
