The 128GB disk size was a limitation of the original ATA spec. It has nothing to do with USB. So no, a USB drive will not have that size limitation. What do you mean by slow bus speed? If you connect a USB 2.0 drive you will get USB 2.0 speed, theoretically 480Mbps but in practice somewhat less. Eric S.
