That's right. I ran OpenOffice on a G3 iBook with 10.4, and I remember that every time I opened it, X11 would open first. I liked OpenOffice, by the way, and when I finally got MS Office I missed it. It was a little more user friendly, and still seemed to do eveything the MS package did.
