I don't know what a PowerP is but I have a Quicksilver 2001. I have a similar deal. Including the Digi 001. ( perfectly good hardware) What I have done is install two more hard drives in the system. The #1 drive runs the latest everything but no pro tools. #2 drive is reserved for the actual music and video recordings. #3 drive ( under the optical) runs the 10.3.9 and the protools and simlpy requires a 40 second reboot to get to that system. I have also upgraded the processor and the display card and installed a PCI USB 2 card to run all the newer appliances. You can do alot.
