And, by the way, I've seen people in the past blame Apple for the 128MB drive size limitation, as if it were some hack Apple introduced. But that actually was a 28-bit logical block address size limitation inherent in the original ATA spec that wasn't removed until ATA-6, which went to 48-bit LBA, in 2001. Eric S.
