[G4] Quicksilver 2002 free RAM.

I have a pie chart in the Dock showing the Activity Monitor.
When I first fire up the Mac in the morning, the amount of free RAM  
is represented by a green segment/arc covering about 35 minutes (if  
you think of the pie chart as a clock face).
As the hours pass, the green segment gradually lessens. After 3 or 4  
hours, it is down to about 8 minutes.
Where is it going?
The Quicksilver has 1GB of RAM installed, is running 10.4.11 and the  
apps ready to go are Mail, Safari, Dashboard, Photoshop, Temperature  
Monitor and Activity Monitor.
