I have a > manuscript for a book to be published and need my MAC! I'm not finding much about adapters for that monitor, except that it's video cable is molded in; you can't easily replace the cable. I guess your Mac's video card just has DVI and ADC outputs, not VGA? Can you still bring up the monitor's on-screen display (OSD) just so we know the monitor hasn't died? The connector doesn't have any bent pins, does it? Other than that, you could try this, which I found at Samsung's site: Mac OS X Immediately after you hear the startup tone, hold the Shift key. The Shift key should be held as soon as possible after the startup tone but not before. Release the Shift key when you see the gray Apple icon and the progress indicator (looks like a spinning gear). Once the computer has started go to the System preferences Icon on the Dock and Select Display. Set your monitor to its native resolution and a refresh rate of 60 HZ. -- Rich
